Terms of Service

The rules for using VidHub, in plain English.

Using VidhubReel means you agree to these terms. We’ve kept them as short and honest as a legal page can be.

The short version

Agreeing to these terms

By visiting VidhubReel and using the downloader, you’re agreeing to the terms on this page. If something here doesn’t sit right with you, the simplest option is to not use the site — there’s no account to cancel or subscription to walk away from, so stopping is as easy as closing the tab.

These terms apply to everyone who uses the site, whether that’s pasting one link a year or relying on it every day.

What VidHub actually is

VidhubReel is a free tool that lets you download publicly available Instagram videos, Reels, photos, carousel posts, and IGTV episodes by pasting a link. It works by reading the same public page Instagram already shows anyone who visits that link — nothing more.

It is not part of Instagram, Meta, or any of their products, and it doesn’t require or ask for an Instagram login to function.

Who's responsible for what gets downloaded

The tool fetches what you point it at — it doesn’t decide what’s okay to save on your behalf. That decision, and the responsibility that comes with it, sits with the person pasting the link. Using VidHub, you agree to:

Not affiliated with Instagram

VidhubReel is an independent tool

and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. in any way. “Instagram” and related trademarks belong to their respective owners. Instagram’s own Terms of Use still apply to the underlying content and to your Instagram account, separately from this page.

No warranty, provided as-is

VidHub is offered for free, as-is, without guarantees. We try to keep it fast and working, but we can’t promise it will always be available, error-free, or unaffected by changes Instagram makes on their end without notice. If a download fails or a feature breaks, we’ll fix what we can — but there’s no formal service guarantee attached to a free tool run this small.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows it, VidhubReel and whoever maintains it aren’t liable for damages arising from your use of the site — whether that’s a download that didn’t work, content you downloaded and later had a dispute over, or downtime while something gets fixed. You use the tool at your own discretion and are responsible for how you use whatever you download.

If the rules get broken

Because there’s no account system, there’s nothing to “ban” in the traditional sense — but access can be restricted at the server level (for example, rate-limiting or blocking an IP) if a user is abusing the service, attempting to scrape it at scale, or using it for something clearly illegal. That’s a last resort, not a first response.

Changes to the service or these terms

VidHub is a small, actively maintained project, and things change — a feature gets added, a limitation gets fixed, Instagram alters something underneath that forces an update. These terms may be updated to reflect that. When they are, the date at the top of this page moves with the change. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the current version.
